I had a friend that flew a Navion into Atlanta to pick someone up. Approach told him to take yhe first possible taxiway. When he did, they said not THAT one. He offered to do a Uturn and taxi down tte runway. They said, no, we'll work with you.

Thanks for a wonderful return to LAX - many arrivals there as PAX - but only one overflying as PIC through VFR corridor out of SNA decades ago - exciting airspace.
